BBM Akustik Technologie is a leading German supplier of industrial silencers and soundproof enclosures. In addition to project planning, manufacturing and installation of components, we offer product-related consulting services, enabling us to provide our customers with tailor-made solutions that we can verify using theoretical calculation methods, practical test bench measurements or direct measurements in situ.

Our area of expertise covers all components required to ensure adequate sound insulation for complete industrial plants as well as individual machines. Based on the process-related constraints (e.g. pressure losses, temperature and chemical resistance), the products are designed in accordance with the acoustic requirements.

We also supply pipe, resonator and blow-off silencers in contamination-free designs. To optimise entire systems and reduce interfaces, we can offer complete systems (e.g. from start-up pressure relief valves to blow-off silencers).

When dealing with acoustic problems, vibration and structure-borne sound transmission often need to be considered in addition to direct airborne sound. Emission limits can also be exceeded by transmitted vibrations and shocks. However, sufficient reduction is possible in almost all cases, whereby suitable solutions should be developed at the planning stage in order to avoid costly retrofitting later on during operation. When dealing with problems in these areas from an engineering perspective, we draw on our expertise gained from a large number of projects.
